How many people do I need to book the whole room?
There is no minimum number of people but there is a minimum charge. We do require that groups of more than 16 book off the whole room.
Does the Red Ox Inn allow you to bring your own wine?
Yes we do allow corkage. There is a $30 charge per 750 ml bottle of wine. We offer an extensive and interesting carefully chosen wine list.
Can we bring a birthday cake?
Yes. There is a cutting/plating fee of $2 per person.
Can I book the whole restaurant?

How many people does the restaurant hold?
We take groups of up to 36.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes, there is plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant.
I have an allergy/ intolerance to certain foods. Can I come in?
Yes. We like to hear about any special requests in advance to give the kitchen a chance to do the best possible job. We can generally offer great substitutions.
How much time do we have to eat?
As a general rule we allow two hours for a table of two and two and a half hours for a table of four. We try to rebook earlier tables but don't rebook reservations taken after 7pm.
Where are you located?
Our address is 9420-91 St. We are on the south side of the river at the top of Connors Hill. We are very centrally located and about a five minute drive from downtown.
How come I can't book online?
Our online booking system (Open Table) accepts reservations for groups up to twelve for up to a month in advance. Feel free to call us if you would lke to book further in advance or for larger groups. Occasionally we experience Internet connection issues.
Do you have a fireplace?
No, we do not have a fireplace.
Can I request a certain table?
We try to accommodate requests as best we can but please understand that certain tables are for larger groups and that seating can often change depending on a variety of factors.
Why do I need to give my credit card number?
For reservations of more than 8 people we take credit card numbers. There is a $20 per person charge for no shows in large groups. This charge will not be applied if 24 hours notice is given on the reservation size.
